Fall Dog Walk
If you have a dog you already know they don’t care how cold it is outside. They want their walk and they want it now! Snow on the ground? 20 MPH winds? 10 degrees? Rain? Your dog doesn’t care. They just give you that look that says, “Come on move it! Let’s go!”
Now they may be all cozy and comfy in their nice Fur Coat but you may need a little something to kill the chill. Nothing will make you last as long as your dog does in the outdoors like quality Merino Wool garments. We of course recommend Woolx.
Snowy Dog Walk
The beauty of Merino Wool is that it will adapt to your activity level. You know, that when it comes to your 4 legged friend, one minute they are snoozing along at their leisure and then they spot a squirrel and decide they want to chase something a little bit. With Merino Wool it wicks the moisture away from your skin when you are sweating a bit and keeps you warm and dry. Then when you stop to rest the insulating values of Merino Wool kick in and hold the body heat in keeping you toasty warm.
While there are some great wicking materials that do a wonderful job of wicking moisture away when active they are not good insulators by themselves. On the other side of the fence materials like heavy cotton thermal for example can be comfortable and warm but will retain moisture and you will soon be wet and cold. Merino Wool garments do give you the best of both worlds.
That pouting look
So don’t let the weather stop you from getting outside with your 4 legged friend. After all in the end you know your pet owns you and not the other way around. The last thing you need is a disappointed pup sulking around all day. Put on your Woolx and hit the outdoors. Remember the old saying… “There is no such thing as bad weather…just bad clothes.”
PS: Now what about those of you with short hair dogs that may not have a super heavy coat? Well keep your eyes on Woolx as we may be adding Merino Wool wear for your pet! After all they deserve to be as comfortable as you do.
