With warmer temperatures many are outside enjoying it. Runners are running by, hikers are mountainside, and bikes are pedaling along the roadways. Spring weather allows you to get back outside and enjoy your exercise again. And of course get some fresh air!
Which spring outdoor activity are you enjoying? Running is among the popular outdoor sports. These past weekends when its been seasonable warm, I’ve seen many people outdoors running again. People came out of hibernation. Dressed head to toe in their favorite baselayer and running at the parks or around the neighborhood. Say goodbye to the treadmills for a couple months and have an active scenery for awhile.
Hiking is another great spring enjoyment to many. Dust off your walking sticks and hiking boots. The mountains are calling! Pack a bag with your favorite snacks, and an extra baselayer just in case. As always take a buddy or tell a friend or family member where you will be hiking that day. Hike your local parks trails or go for the extreme mountain hike. Download some maps for some great hikes in your town. Geocaching is becoming more popular. It’s a great activity to involve the kids. Check www.geocaching.com before heading out on your hike for some clues.

Grease up those wheels, and start pedaling. Biking is a physical and fun outdoor activity. Go extreme and bike mountainside, or rugged trails. Or pedal on concrete and enjoy the scenery. Either way, many bikes are being seen lately. People have ditched their indoor stationary bikes for the real thing. Pack a lunch and pedal a few miles to have a picnic. As always don’t forget the helmet!
