Haunted Halloween Runs!

What’s the best part of Halloween? The trick or treating of course! And with that comes CANDY!! We all know that delicious candy can lurk around for months after the holiday, and as much as we love candy here at Woolx we’re also committed to Health and Fitness. In that spirit we kindly bring you a list of some Haunted Halloween Runs to burn off those empty candy calories and kick start your fitness routine! Lace up your shoes, put on your Woolx base layer, and let’s go!

The Run of the Dead 5K  – Syracuse, NY – Saturday Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants wear a flag belt while running the obstacle course gauntlet and mud run, Zombies chase you trying to eat your brains (flags). If you lose all your flags you “die”! Registration is required at syracusesportsassociation.com.

Hallowrun for Hunger, Oneida Shores Park in Brewerton. Proceeds for this run will go to the food bank of Central NY. Run through woods and over hills taking in the scenery. A kids race is available with no brain eating zombies. More Information can be found at http://www.hallowrun.com/

CRMC Hospital Aid Trick or Trot  at JM McDonald Sports Complex in Cortland, N.Y. This too is a costume race.
