Grains such as wheat, barley, and rye are good sources of fiber that should be included in your daily consumption. But of course in moderation.

My friend called the other day and said, “I’m turning Vegan“. What does this mean? It means you are eliminating any source of animal product out of your diet. No dairy, no meat or any animal derived ingredient. Just your basic fruits and veggies. Vegans can get protein into their diet by nuts or beans. Protein is a huge factor in diet. Cutting out your dairy and protein can be hazardous to ones health unless they get it from different sources.

Lastly the Paleo Diet also know as the Cave Mans Diet. This diet just hit the shelves in the last month or two. It’s basically a high-protein, high-fiber eating . No processed foods on this diet!  As well as no sugars, salt and potatoes. This diet comes from the theory that our ancestors were hunters not farmers!

With People eager to find the right eating plan many are also cutting exercise out of their diets. Daily exercise is just as important as which food you choose to eat. So don’t fall into the latest trend without knowing all the facts and making sure its the right plan for you.
